Oh, Community.
As reluctant as I am to admit it,
I need you.
To make me laugh, to cry with me. To hug me tight.
To scratch my back where I can’t reach
and pull splinters out of my feet.
Its also nice when you pick up avocados at the store for me.
Sometimes I trick myself into thinking I don’t even want you,
but in my heart I know that’s not true.
You challenge me. You encourage me.
You see things in me that I am blind to.
You call me up and out.
I need your iron to sharpen mine.
